What was my role / Impact / contribution?
Jumping into the team wasn’t just about cranking out designs faster—it was about elevating the process. I embedded myself in their sprints, not just to speed up turnaround time, but to shape a design workflow that balanced efficiency with excellence.
Bringing a sharp eye for UI & UX, I helped bridge the gap between ideas and execution, ensuring that every feature shipped on time without compromising quality. But it wasn’t just about delivery—I established a scalable design operations structure to onboard new designers seamlessly and support the team’s growing needs.
How I Worked:
A Two-Week Sprint Cycle
Week 1: Discovery & Design Exploration
🔹 Brainstorming & Requirement Analysis
Each sprint began with a collaborative session with Arnav and the team to define the upcoming features. We started by reviewing the PRD (Product Requirements Document) on Notion, where everyone shared insights and flagged potential challenges before an initial discussion. This step helped align our understanding before jumping into design.
🔹 Early Design Exploration
With a solid grasp of the requirements, I kicked off the design process with sketches on Miro, using this phase for rapid brainstorming and ideation. Research and competitive analysis helped shape our understanding of user needs and industry best practices.
🔹 Wireframing & UX Exploration
Once key flows and patterns were identified, I moved to mid-fidelity wireframing, focusing on layout explorations, user flows, and core interactions. At this stage, I aimed to test multiple approaches before finalizing the best user experience.
🔹 Cross-Functional & Design Team Feedback
By mid-sprint, we held a group feedback session with tech, business, and design stakeholders to test the scalability and feasibility of our solutions. Additionally, we conducted inter-design team reviews, where we shared progress, critiqued each other’s work, and refined interactions for better consistency and usability.
Week 2: Refinement, Handoff & Post-Launch Iteration
🔹 Finalizing Interactions & Developer Handoff
With feedback incorporated, I worked on refining micro-interactions, defining edge cases, and creating prototypes to ensure clarity in execution. The finalized designs were then documented and handed off to developers for implementation.
🔹 Design System Maintenance & Component Management
Alongside feature work, I actively contributed to the design system, ensuring that new components were added, refined, and documented. This included:
• Creating & updating reusable components for consistency across the product.
• Maintaining file hygiene by keeping the design files structured, labeled, and up-to-date.
• Improving documentation for developers and designers, ensuring smooth adoption of design system updates.
🔹 Post-Launch Testing & Iteration
Once the feature was released, we gathered real user feedback. If any usability issues emerged, we revisited the design, brainstormed solutions, and rolled out refinements in subsequent sprints.

End Note: A Project to Remember
This was an exciting and fast-paced project where I had the privilege of working alongside a team of absolute rockstars. Collaborating with a startup that counted Notion and Figma as clients was both inspiring and challenging—pushing me to bring my A-game every step of the way.
What stood out the most was the cross-functional collaboration, deep sense of ownership, and the freedom to innovate. The structured processes we followed, the design system thinking, and the opportunity to shape AI-powered experiences made this project truly rewarding.
It wasn’t just about shipping great designs—it was about building a scalable, intelligent, and user-first product that will continue to evolve. And that, for me, is the kind of work that makes design truly exciting. 🚀
